The taste to healthful living
Italian Forest honey
Is produced on the alpine areas from honeydew and forest
blossoms. Because of its rich flavour it is normally used
as table honey to be spread on bread.
Acacia blossom honey
Comes from the “Robinia Pseudoacacia” blossoms.
The main characteristic of this typical Italian honey is
the clear color (from white to pale yellow), the transparency
and the very delicate taste and aroma. The quantity of natural
fructose present in Acacia honey ensures it stays liquid
for a long time. Suitable for sweetening drinks, tea and
infusions. Its own organoleptic characteristics and its
mild taste makes Acacia honey the ideal nourishment for
babies and children.
Lime blossom honey
Has color that varies from yellow to pale brown, typical fragrance
of lime blossoms with a slightly minty taste. Well known for
their balsamic essences, they are used to sweeten herbal infusions
or as table honey.
Chestnut blossom honey
Has a color from brown to dark brown, a strong typical aromatic
taste and a bitter retro-taste. Rich in pollen content, mineral
salts and tannin, it stays liquid for a long time. Used for
breakfast, for the preparation of typical Italian cakes, it
is appreciated by those consumers who do not care for a very
sweet tasting honey.
Orange blossom honey
Has clear and translucent color and crystallizes within
some months from the crop. Its taste is very delicate and
lightly acidic with typical blossom fragrance. Because of
this characteristic it is used to sweeten infusions, to
spread on bread and to prepare typical Italian sweets like
“Torrone”. Certification
The Rigoni Organic Honey is submitted to rigorous attentions
from the start. The Organoleptic quality of the Honey are
certified by Bioagricoop, an authorized agency recognized
by the EEC to perform analysis of quality and guarantee
of the consumer.
Rigoni Honey is also Kosher Certified. Organic
certification by Bioagricoop.
